27 YEARS OLD UTI NWACHUCHKWU FROM NIGERIA WINS BIG BROTHER ALL STARS

27 years old Actor, Tv Presenter and model from Nigeria Uti Nwachukwu emerged the winner of big brother all stars after 91 days stay in the Big Brother All Stars house away from family members, mobile phone, internet and totally cut off from the outside world.

While in the house, the news of his father’s death was brought to him. Finally he will have the chance to be with his family and mourn his father. He is returning home with a smile big enough for him and his family who dearly await his return.

This is the second consecutive Big Brother Africa win for Nigeria as Kevin Chuwang Pam won Big Brother Revolution in 2009 and now Uti Nwahukwu.

Final five housemates were Uti from Nigeria, Sheila from Kenya, Munya from Zimbabwe, Mwisho from Tanzania and Lerato from South Africa.
Munya who had survived about nine evictions on the Big Brother All Stars house looked very surprised and disappointed when Uti’s name was mentioned. Munya shed uncontrollable tears as he walked to the stage, whiles Uti kept asking himself how he was able to win the game. Uti also won extra $1000 in addition to his $200,000 ultimate prize because no housemate was able to discover his secret.

Well, Big Brother Africa All Stars has finally come to an end  with Munya from Zimbabwe as the 1st runner up and Uti from Nigeria as the winner with 8 countries voting for him and 7 countries for Munya who was in shock

congratulations UTI!!!

A former Minister of Education, Prof. Babatunde Fafunwa, has died at the age of 87.
He was born in September 1923 in Isale-Eko Lagos.
He served as minister between 1990 and 1992
“His contributions were monumental, which he sustained even till his old age. As minister of education, he stimulated the setting up of the 6-3-3-4 system and leveraged the visibility of African education systems in UNESCO and other global bodies. His forte was in mentoring younger ones, to keep the flame of quality education burning.

He takes credit for setting up several innovative mechanisms to bolster quality in the education system, including the National Examination Council, National Board for Technical Education and Business Board and the Fafunwa Educational Foundation.

May his soul rest in peace
